AFP Foundation Be the Cause – Join us in 2017!
Our efforts continue to reach our chapter goal for the AFP Foundation’s Be the Cause campaign. Member participation is crucial and all gifts – no matter the size – are important in support the professional development efforts within our profession.
Our chapter members who have made gifts and pledges thus far and taken us to 68% of our goal. Thank you! Achieving this goal is easy when many take part – can you help us get there?
Last year, our chapter benefitted directly from the AFP Foundation by being able to award a Chamberlain Scholarship to attend the International Conference in San Francisco. Additionally, our chapter grant from the AFP Foundation supported membership scholarships, awarded this summer and scholarships to attend Fundraising Day Wisconsin.
On a broader scale, support for the foundation helps in advancing research and best practice, shared by AFP for development professionals throughout the world!
Making your gift is easy. Just access the AFP website – www.afpnet.org. In the top right-hand corner, look for the Make a Gift tab which will take you directly to the AFP Foundation website. You can make your gift or pledge directly. Be sure to mark your chapter affiliation so your gift helps our goal!
We will also have a computer available and ready at our December 14 luncheon, allowing you to make your gift then.
