2017 Be the Cause Campaign – and a reminder of a  benefit for YOU!

Each year, BE the CAUSE is the cooperative, annual giving campaign of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy and U.S. AFP Chapters. Each year, a percentage of the dollars donated by AFP Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter members are granted back to the Chapter to be used for a local project.

This year, we are excited to share that we will use the funds granted to our Chapter to increase the offerings in our Chapter’s webinar library. Currently, the library contains just more than 50 webinars, however, we haven’t had the opportunity to add additional webinars in a few years. Webinars are available on a large variety of topics including Board Management, Leadership, Major Gift Fundraising, Special Events, and more. The audience varies by webinar  – from new to seasoned fundraisers.  Each webinar could cost several hundred dollars to purchase individually – but they are available as a benefit at no cost to our valued members. The webinar library listing can be viewed here, access to the library is only for AFP members – the password is sent with the new membership or membership renewal confirmation email.

The webinar library is considered by members to be an asset for individual professional development –particularly for those looking for additional understanding on a particular topic or who are unable to attend our in-person education events.
