National Philanthropy Day Is Artfully Approaching!

The National Philanthropy Day committee is working hard, and we are pleased to announce plentiful opportunities for members to show their talents, and contribute to the celebration on Tuesday, November 12, at the Pfister Hotel. Here are some quick updates:

-- The new Impact Awards will honor the innovative and inspirational work of AFP members and their organizations. Nominate your organizations work in one of three categories including Best Presentation of Mission, Innovation in Philanthropy, or Best Representation of Stewardship or Donor Engagement. The deadline is August 31st.

-- The 2019 Awardees represent a wide range of outstanding contributions to the field of Philanthropy in the greater southeast region of Wisconsin. Hear about the honorees and their nominators in our recent press release https://www.afpsewi.org/national-philanthropy-day

-- Reserve your table sponsorship by August 28th, to be featured in the NPD. Information on table sponsorship and other opportunities is available at https://www.afpsewi.org/national-philanthropy-day

-- Cecelia Gore from the Brewers Community Foundation as agreed to be our Mistress of Ceremonies. Vision Forward, Milwaukee Public Schools Foundation, and First Stage will showcase their “arts”, through performance and visual arts at the event.
