The Southeastern Wisconsin chapter’s commitment to education and training is supported by several scholarship opportunities. Applications are accepted throughout the year and are awarded by the Scholarship Committee. You must be a member of AFP Southeastern Wisconsin to be eligible for a conference or education scholarship.
Fundraising Day Wisconsin Scholarships
AFPSEWI is excited to announce two full scholarships covering registration for this year’s Fundraising Day Wisconsin Conference (FDWI) on June 18 at American Family Insurance in Madison! Co-hosted by AFP’s Wisconsin chapters, this full-day conference promises to be an excellent opportunity to learn from nationally-known presenters and network with area development professionals.

Membership Scholarships
To advance our philanthropy profession and help grow chapter membership, we offer membership scholarships to qualified individuals to help members join and remain in AFP.

Scholarships will cover the cost of membership dues for one year (including local chapter dues!)

AFP ICON Scholarships
AFPSEWI’s Scholarship Committee is thrilled to offer three substantial scholarship awards to chapter members to attend the AFP International Fundraising Conference (ICON) in Seattle from April 27-29, 2025.
Chamberlain Scholarship (1 available) – Covers the cost of conference registration (minus a $10 processing fee) plus $2,000 to use toward travel and lodging. For first-time ICON attendees only. Diversity and financial need are considered but not required.
AFPSEWI Chapter Scholarship (2 available) – Provides a total of $2,000 to be used toward conference registration, travel, and lodging. After paying the registration fee (at the Preview Rate), recipients will have approximately $1,000 to cover travel and lodging.
Scholarship amounts may not completely cover the cost of your conference experience, and recipients are responsible for any costs over the amount of their award.
