Your Chance to Attend International Conference – for Free

San Antonio River WalkChamberlain Scholarship deadline is January 7

Each year, AFP International offers the Chamberlain Scholarship to assist AFP members to attend an AFP International Conference.

The AFPSEWI Scholarship Committee is proud to announce the Chamberlain scholarship is available again this year to attend the 2019 AFP International Fundraising Conference in San Antonio, TX, March 31 – April 2, 2019.

The recipient will experience three unforgettable days of breakout sessions, keynote speakers, and networking, accompanied by opportunities to explore the food, music and culture of the San Antonio.

To qualify for the Chamberlain Scholarship: 

  • Candidate must have never attended an AFP International Fundraising Conference. (New members are encouraged to apply).
  • Agree to share your experience from the conference.
  • Diversity and financial need are considered, but not required.

The Chamberlain Scholar is provided by AFP International and AFP Southeastern WI. This scholarship covers the registration fee (minus a $10 processing fee) plus $1,200 for travel and expenses. For a total of $2,000.

Applications for the 2019 AFP International Conference scholarship is now open and must be submitted by January 7.

Conferences are a great way to reenergize through learning, networking, and goal recalibration. The AFP Conference in New Orleans was no exception and I was honored to have attended through the Chamberlain Scholarship. Many thanks to AFP – Southeastern Wisconsin for allowing me to attend a thought-provoking weekend in New Orleans!
