Harnessing Butterflies: Making the Ask
About the Event
Hosted by the Developing Professionals Special Interest Group
Nerves before or during a face-to-face solicitation threaten your success. Fear tightens you up, makes you lose your confidence and when that happens your ask goes right down the tube. We are required to harness our butterflies and ask boldly. In this session, seasoned fundraisers Dave Siewert and Susan Schultze will share how they've learned to go into an ask with a completely different mindset and focus. Join us in exploring simple and straight-forward strategies for making the ask less intimidating and more effective for revenue acceleration and mission expansion.
